Working Principle

An air header works on a simple distribution principle: a single inlet connection receives compressed air or instrument air from the main supply line, and the header body directs that supply across multiple outlet ports, each typically fitted with its own isolation point. This allows individual instruments or devices connected to the header to be isolated independently for maintenance without shutting down supply to the others a meaningful advantage over a setup where every device ties directly into the main line with no independent isolation.

The header's internal bore and outlet spacing are engineered to maintain adequate air supply pressure across all connected points, even when multiple devices are drawing from the same header simultaneously.
