Our Square Needle Valves deliver the same fine flow control and reliable shutoff as the rest of our needle valve range, built into a square body configuration designed for stable panel mounting and clean alignment in multi-valve instrumentation setups. These characteristics make them suitable for use in control panels, junction boxes, and valve assemblies that require a flat surface mounting.
Just like all of our valves, each one is machined within exacting tolerances, has a tapered needle-and-seat assembly, and is tested under pressure prior to shipment.
The operation of the inner mechanism in all of our needle valves is identical in that a tapered needle stem is moved into and out of a corresponding seat by turning the hand wheel. As the needle moves further in, it will decrease the flow through restricting it until it closes off completely. What changes with the square body variant is purely the external housing the flow control principle inside stays consistent, which means you get the same throttling precision regardless of which body shape suits your installation.
The flat-sided square body also tends to resist rotation once mounted, which some installation teams prefer for panels where valve orientation needs to stay fixed during operation.
Square, for stable flat-panel mounting
Tapered needle-and-seat for fine flow control and tight shutoff
Machined from instrumentation-grade material, selected per application requirement
Individually pressure-tested before dispatch
Manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certified processes
Pressure and temperature ratings vary by material grade our team can confirm exact specifications against your project requirement.
When a panel design calls for multiple valves mounted in a row, small inconsistencies in body shape or tolerance become obvious fast misaligned valves, uneven spacing, awkward wrench access. We manufacture our square needle valves to consistent dimensional tolerances precisely so they line up the way your panel drawing intends, without last-minute adjustments on the installation floor.
If your project involves a densely packed instrumentation layout and you're unsure whether square or round body fits better, it's worth flagging to our engineering team before finalizing your panel design a five-minute conversation now can save a redesign later.
Square body valves offer more stable flat-panel mounting and better alignment in multi-valve installations where several valves are grouped together.
