Our check valves are built to allow flow in one direction only, automatically closing to prevent reverse flow the moment forward pressure drops or reverses. Unlike valves that need a handle turned or an actuator signal, check valves operate entirely on the mechanics of flow and pressure differential no manual intervention, no external control needed. MECHANISM & CONTROL

Working Principle

In a check valve, a disc or a ball, or any other closing member is seated on the seat inside the valve, being retained at that position by the difference in pressure across the valve. With the desired forward flow through the valve, the closing member is pushed away from its seat by pressure, permitting the media to flow through it easily. When the flow ceases or even tries to go backward, the difference in pressure acts to push the closing member firmly on its seat.

This self-actuating behavior is what makes check valves so valuable in systems where backflow could damage equipment upstream a pump running dry because fluid drained backward through it, or a compressor taking on reverse pressure it was never designed to handle. The valve reacts to the physics of the system automatically, without waiting for anyone to notice and intervene.
